Track-etched membranes
it4ip track-etched membranes are available from 3 types of pure polymer films : polycarbonate (PC) - polyester (PET) - polyimide™ (PI).
They are manufactured to reach a precise pore size from 10 nanometers to more than 30 micrometers, and are characterised by a smooth flat surface and a sharp cut-off.

MANUFACTURING & CONVERTION
Access to three beaming facilities is secured and all manufacturing facilities are dedicated for controlled continuous production of roll membranes from polycarbonate, PET and polyimide.
Facilities for slitting are also available : roll membrane can be converted to discs, squares, sheets and other miscellaneous formats.
All our track-etched membranes are manufactured in clean rooms (ISO 5 and 7) and following strict quality assurance procedures to meet customer requirements.
ISO 9001:2008 certificate : EN - FR
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Hydrophilic or hydrophobic, and with a high chemical resistance, it4ip track-etched membranes are essential for key applications where they are used as separation barrier, flow controller, support or screen filter ...
They are currently used for direct observation and rapid quantification of biological cells or µ-organisms, for cancer diagnosis, for diffusion control in biosensors, for particle capture tests, for rare event recovery, in fuel cell, ...

Novel Technology to Provide an Enriched Therapeutic Cell Concentrate from Bone Marrow Aspirate
