He has more than 20 years of experience in business development, process scaling-up, industrial manufacturing and project management related to track etching technology; he was involved in the creation of Cyclopore s.a. in 1989 and general manager of Whatman Belgium s.a. until 2003.
Laurent JONCKHEERE, Production Manager
He has been successively production and quality manager of Cyclopore s.a. and of Whatman Belgium s.a. until 2003; he has a long experience in track-etched products development and manufacturing.
Etienne FERAIN, R&D and Quality Manager
He has been researcher at the University of Louvain in track-etched membrane related projects for more than 20 years; he acquired his PhD in early 90's and was therefore involved as coordinator in successive European funded projects. He is actually involved as coordinator and project partner of regional funded projects.

Spin-off de l'UCL créée en 2006, la société it4ip a développé une technologie unique et brevetée, appelée « track etched », pour la production de membranes aux propriétés exceptionnelles. Ces membranes consistent en un film fin et poreux qui filtre gaz et liquides, et le savoir-faire réside notamment dans le contrôle de la taille et du nombre de perforations qui y sont créées.
